The Gauntlet is designed, edited, and written by students in La Plata High School’s Newspaper Publications class, many of whom are looking to pursue journalism in the future. Because the newspaper is not funded by the district, these students thrive off of the generosity of the local community, as well as the contributions by businesses who advertise with us, to help put out the paper every month.
